| GSCT welcomes volunteers! Each GSCT production requires approximately 2,350 man-hours of preparation before the curtain rises in front of a live audience. All of those hours are provided by committed volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. No matter what your skills, we have a job for you!
Do you like to organize? Do you like to lead? Lobby for a cause? Debate ideas? Coordinate big projects? Then, maybe you would enjoy being a GSCT BOARD MEMBER!
Are you good with numbers? Do you have good people skills? Can you “work the crowd”? Then, perhaps you would enjoy being a BOX OFFICE WORKER!
Do you like to lead? Do you enjoy coordinating big projects? Do you have a vision for a favorite play? Are you familiar with the supporting aspects of theatre—stage management, lighting, props, etc? Do you have onstage experience? Then, maybe you would like to be a DIRECTOR!
Do you enjoy performing? Can you sing or dance? Then perhaps you would like to be an ACTOR!
Do you like to build? Do you like to use tools? Are you handy? Then, maybe you would like to work in SET CONSTRUCTION!
Are you skilled in visual arts? Can you draw or paint? Can you visualize a room and make it come to life? Then, perhaps you would enjoy SET DESIGN!
Do you like to collect things? Do you enjoy shopping at thrift stores or yard sales? Do you enjoy a good “scavenger hunt”? Then, perhaps you would like to collect PROPS!
Can you play a musical instrument? Can you accompany singers on an instrument? Then perhaps you would like to work as a MUSICIAN!
Do you enjoy interior design? Do you enjoy decorating a room to give it a certain “feel”? Then, maybe you would like to be a SET DRESSER!
Do you have electrical skills? Do you know about stage lights? Do you enjoy setting lights to create a mood? Are you unafraid of heights? Then, perhaps you would enjoy being a LIGHTING DESIGNER!
Do you enjoy taking care of others? Are you organized? Do you enjoy working as a supportive leader? Are you calm under pressure? Then maybe you would enjoy being a STAGE MANAGER!
Do you enjoy working alone? Do you like to work “behind the scenes”? Then, perhaps you would like to be a SOUND OR LIGHT TECHNICIAN!
Are you skilled in communication? Are you good at writing? Do you have “contacts”? Then maybe you would like to work in PUBLICITY!
Are you good at marketing? Do you like to sell products for a good cause? Can you “work the crowd”? Then perhaps you would enjoy AD SALES!
