The communities surrounding Shelby, Cleveland County, and even beyond make up the lifeblood of the Greater Shelby Community Theater. We are sincerely grateful for the support of these communities and for the opportunity to entertain such diverse audiences. Therefore, we are constantly striving to give back to the community by putting our creative energy into action:

• We consistently support local High School Drama programs with annual contributions to each of the four Cleveland County High Schools.
  
• In a unique program, we have organized a season ticket exchange program with two other regional theaters — Kings Mountain Little Theater and the Community College Players in Rutherford County — to broaden our collective audience base. In this program, season tickets holders from any theater may attend the performances of the other cooperating theaters without charge and without using any of their “home” admissions.
  
• For each of our shows, we offer free admission to “under-served” audiences and have a regular program of offering seats to local youth and senior agencies for dress rehearsals.
